About me

Yes, I am a real person behind the screen.

Hi, I’m Sarah.

I’m a web designer and developer who’s been doing this for about 9 years now (7 of those in a Linz agency, where I basically learned how the internet behaves under pressure).

I taught myself design while studying the technical side of things, so I’ve always had one foot in the “make it look good” world and the other in “why is this breaking at 2am” territory. I’ve been solving problems long before AI became a thing people argue about on the internet. That said, I’m not against vibe coders at all. Honestly, it’s a great way to get into programming, and we all start somewhere.

What I enjoy most is the mix: being creative, but also getting properly challenged. I like finding solutions to very specific problems that don’t have a copy-paste answer. Web design and development doesn’t feel like “work” to me in the traditional sense, more like a constantly changing puzzle I actually want to solve.

I’m also not just a developer, I’m a graphic designer too, which helps me understand trends, user behavior, and why some things work while others just… don’t, even if they look nice on Dribbble. I try to stay open-minded, think outside the box, but still rely on proven approaches when they actually make sense.

I specialize in WordPress, not because I think it’s the ultimate CMS, but because I care about my clients being able to manage their own websites without needing me for every tiny change. Independence is the goal (unless you enjoy emailing your developer for “how do I change this text again?” – I don’t judge).
